Text to Self

Comparing myself to Simon Andrews Simon goes through a lot in this book and develops himself very well, no only does he start off as an arrogant brat, he goes to an emotional character trying to keep himself and his sister alive. Although I don't find myself to be arrogant or a brat there are some stuff we have in common such as we both act on impulse sometimes, Simon usually acts on his own sometimes erratically causing damage to his sister and himself in the moment. I do impulse actions which get me in deep waters sometimes, we have somewhat of survival knowledge, him learning it from TV shows and the same situation for me learning it from TV. If I was Simon in his place trying to escape North Korea and free our dad, I would try to lay extra low, maybe using Mia to go out into the city to gather supplies as she is actually Korean and would fit in there while not trying to attract attention to ourselves, not only that moving fast and ahead of the military.  Comparing In The Shadow of the Sun to Detroit Become Human In The Shadow of the Sun tackles very different settings, most of which is that it has a very dark and gloomy atmosphere that makes you tired at every corner cause of the nonstop running, when I think of a dark and gloomy setting I think of mud that when you step in it it gets harder and harder to move and run. That goes the same for Detroit Become Human, both having dark and wet settings that makes the player feel like they are in a constant depression, there is sun at times but not enough that it doesn't rid of the stench that they are stuck in. In one mission of DBH, Marcus which is a main protagonist in the game is scrapped and sent into a landfill where many other androids are scrapped at and dead, some still functioning but barely. The first thing you see is rain falling down onto the muddy floor, covering his face, this was just right after his owner died of a heart attack due to a conflict between his son. The pain...

In the book " In the Shadow of the Sun", the story mainly focuses on escaping North Korea and to get back their father who has been kidnapped by the military forces, in the book it seems to take a little bit of planning and smart ways to move just to escape and they eventually do with the help of friends outside the military and inside, using smugglers and innocent citizens to help feed them and shelter them. But in the real world it's not that easy as the military in reality is more sadistic than they are in the book, they kidnap citizens and anybody who tries to think of escaping, the book does really well with showcasing the harshness of the KPA. (Korean People's Army) They always ask the citizens for help of finding anybody who looked suspicious or anybody who has been hiding in alleyways in hopes to identify them usually interrogating innocent citizens just to get a word out of them cause if they don't comply they get publicly executed for not complying with ...
